Shrewsbury Charity Dog Show
Posted on Saturday 17-09-2005
Dog lovers from all over Shrewsbury braved the rain to take part in a Charity Dog Show on Saturday held at the new Shrewsbury Pet Hospital just off Harlescott Lane.Family dog, 8 month old Lilly won ‘Dog most like it’s owner’ with Chelsea Tisdale (pictured right) aged 9 from Gains Park.
Best of show went to 1 year old Snowdrop (pictured left) with owner John Morris from Sutton Farm. This was a great achievement for Snowdrop who was re-housed with John Morris’s family in February this year by Greyhound Rescue in Shrewsbury. Snowdrop is completely deaf and was rescued as a puppy after being found wandering on a road in North Wales.
All proceeds from the event went to Greyhound Rescue and Shropshire Cat Rescue.

"Dear Mr. Bedford,
Just a short note to thank you for the kindness and dedication over the years, whilst attending to our lovely black labrador, Meg.
You gave her a new 'lease-of-life' on two occasions, the first occasion 3 years ago when you successfully repaired her cruciate despite our previous vet advising us that 'it could not be done'.
Despite the necessary treatment she had she was never anxious when attending your clinic, which is a credit to you and your team,
Thanks again,

Report of Client Evening Wednesday March 16th 2005
Posted on Sunday 20-03-2005
Our plans for an opening date and a launch were made in the middle of February, and at the time they seemed quite reasonable. Invitations to the launch were sent out two weeks before the event, and we were still optimistic of being ready on time. As the day of the launch grew closer the optimism of being ready began to gradually fade until the actual day arrived and blind panic started to set in.
